About Waterfront Boat Tours
Waterfront Boat Tours (A sister company of Sport Helicopters) is the newest boat touring company offering 5-star rated harbour cruises, catamaran bay cruise and sunset cruises from the V&A Waterfront. Waterfront Boat Tours started operating from the 1st of November 2021 from shop 6, Quay 5, Dock Road, V&A Waterfront. The offices use to be a helicopter tour agency called Waterfront Helicopter Tours and we decided to expand our product offering. We have launched brand-new state of the art boats in November and December 2021. A double decker 47ft magnus power catamaran (harbour boat) called “Une Belle Vie” and a beautiful 53ft catamaran yacht called “A Beautiful Life”. Both boats operate daily from the V&A Waterfront, offering scheduled cruises from 11:00 – 17:00 and sunset cruises from 18:00.
The Cruise
The boat cruises depart from the docks in-front of the legendary Quay 4 tavern. Occasionally our skippers will point out interesting points of interest and marine wildlife along the way. Trying to get as close as it is safe to do so.
30min Harbour Cruise
Enjoy a relaxing harbour cruise aboard our newly built 47ft double-decker boat, Une Belle Vie. This cruise will take you for a tour through the V&A Waterfront and Cape Town harbour with the beautiful Table Mountain as a backdrop. This trip is ideal for large groups such as schools, businesses and tour groups as our vessel can seat up to 56 passengers.
60min Catamaran bay cruise
Sit back and enjoy a catamaran yacht cruise from the V&A Waterfront to Table Bay aboard A Beautiful Life with the beautiful Table Mountain as a backdrop. Guaranteed the best views of the V&A Waterfront and Cape Town Harbour. This trip is ideal for large groups such as schools, businesses and tour groups as our vessel can seat up to 60 passengers. Watch as the harbour operates with other vessels enter and leave the harbour. Get up close to large shipping vessels and local marine life.
90min Sunset Cruise
A daily sunset champagne cruise from the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town which will have you sipping a glass of sparkling wine (included) on a sunset ocean cruise with the beautiful Table Mountain and Lion’s Head in the background.
Once aboard
Our spacious and stable boats are fitted with the latest maritime gadgets and a high quality sound system, comfortable seating and an onboard cash bar. We are currently busy applying for our liquor licence so you are welcome to bring aboard your own alcohol. We do not charge a corkage fee.
